Every new, non-blank page you scan in Foli earns one leaf.
Fill your tree
Leaves add up on the Forest tab. At 100 leaves, your tree is complete.
We order it
Each night, Foli buys every completed tree from Ecologi in a single batch.
It goes in the ground
Ecologi's partner project plants it, and your certificate shows where.
A leaf means a real page.
We check each page so the forest reflects real paperwork. The check uses a fingerprint of the page, never the image itself.

You need to be signed in with Apple to earn leaves. Leaves you earn while signed out wait on your phone for 30 days, then expire.
How fast will your tree grow?

Ecologi funds tree planting through a portfolio of restoration projects run by partners on the ground. Projects are checked and monitored, and planting is published openly.
Your certificate names the project your tree went to. Ecologi chooses the project, species and site based on what each place needs, so we can't promise a particular species or spot.
Who pays for the trees?
Foli does. Trees come out of subscription revenue. You never pay per tree, on Free or on Pro.
When does my tree get planted?
We order completed trees from Ecologi every night. Ecologi's partners plant in the right season for each site, so the tree may go in the ground some weeks after it's ordered.
Is there a limit on free trees?
Yes. Each month has a set budget for trees earned on the Free plan. If that budget runs out, the extra trees are ordered at the start of the next month. Nobody loses a tree.
Why are there monthly leaf limits?
Every tree costs us real money. The limits (30 leaves a month on Free, 250 on Pro) keep the programme sustainable and fair for everyone.
Can I get more leaves by inviting friends?
Yes. When a friend joins through your invite, you each get 10 leaves. That works for up to 10 friends.
What does Ecologi know about me?
Nothing. We buy trees in one batch and tell Ecologi how many. No names, emails or scans are shared.
